Concrete Rose LLC exists to help nonprofits succeed by providing grant writing, fundraising, donor cultivation, and other services so that you can remain laser-focused on your mission. With over a decade of nonprofit experience, founder Katie Hanna is a seasoned professional who is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you have the resources you need to succeed.

Services

We provide a variety of services to nonprofits, including:

• Grant writing: This is our most common request from clients. Katie has written and managed grants from 4-7 figures for all levels and types of funders, including corporations, government grants, traditional philanthropic foundations, and individuals. Includes LOIs, proposals, reports, and any other associated attachments.

• Database management: Keeping track of donor details, including history of engagement (emails, meetings, etc.), gifts (amounts, dates), etc. We have the most experience with Salesforce and Raiser's Edge but can quickly learn new platforms or help you build your own system.

• Dev ops: Generating/sending acknowledgement letters, handling grant submissions, reviewing grant agreements, managing a grants calendar, etc.

• Dev comms: Individual or mass donor outreach (e.g., email blasts tailored to donors), ensuring all donors have regular touchpoints. Could also include fundraising campaigns (e.g., Giving Tuesday).

• Meetings: Katie can conduct meeting prep (background research + talking points in advance of a meeting) and/or take meetings with potential donors/program officers.

• Prospect research: Generating lists of potential donors and helping organizations follow through on outreach submitting applications.

• Collateral writing: Annual reports, strategic plans, pitch decks, one-pagers, sponsorship packages, email drafts/templates, etc. We can also do copy editing for materials written by the client.

• Event planning: We can develop strategy and logistics for donor-centric events or help add a fundraising component to a more programmatic event.

• Strategic planning: having worked at many orgs big and small, Katie can facilitate this process as a whole or take a narrower scope and support you with forecasting and thinking about fundraising as an element of your future-planning.

• Training: We can coach staff in any of the above.
